Scatman John - Hitkrant Interview (Dutch+Google Translated English) (September 1995)

Bought this magazine on eBay a while back for a little under $20 USD. Has a pretty good amount of unseen images and an interview with Scatman John. Some great stuff here, though sadly I can't speak Dutch so I do not know what is being said in the interview. If anyone here is able to translate this please leave a comment below. Download link to the full resolution scans+cleaned up versions of the pictures also available here:

"A ball can roll strangely (?). Until six months ago, no one had heard of Scatman John, while the good man had been making a living as a musician for about thirty years. In the meantime, The Scatman (real name: John Larkin) already has two world hits to his name, Scatman and Scatman's World, and as a big earner he has also started living a bit bigger. We visited the Larkin family in their new home in sunny California. Welcome to Scatman's World!"

Images:
We meet Scatman John outside his brand new house on Riverside Drive in Los Angeles. The 53-year-old singer is very proud of his place, and also immediately shows his new Mercedes. “Nice, huh?” he beams at us. “All bought with the proceeds from the sale of my “Scatman's World” CD. Yes, really!”
Immediately upon entering, we enter the hall where all prizes, awards, gold and platinum records that Scatman John has collected in the last six months are displayed, lying and hanging. "This is the sanctuary of The Scatman," John says solemnly. 'This is where I get my inspiration for my hits.'
Of course we are first introduced by John to the lady of the house, Judy Larkin. Very pleasant. John: “Judy and I have been very happily married for over 25 years. I've been through some tough times with her, but she's supported me through thick and thin.' In passing we also take a look in the kitchen, where Judy is busy making an omelette. "May I also introduce you to my soon-to-be pets, the cats Dewey and Louie," jokes John.

Scatman John's real favorites are Mimi the cat and Noodle the poodle. Hey, that rhymes! And speaking of rhymes: The Scatman can also rhyme and write poems without lifting his shirt. (?) While he was actually used to making high school jazz music, he was popularized by rhymes like 'Sca-bi-da-bi-da-bi-da, sca-bi-do-bi-da-bi-doo, sca-bi -da-di-doo-doo-dee' and 'dinga-dongadinga-donga-danga-dee, donga-dinga-dunga-danga-doo'. That has nothing to do with jazz, but you just have to come up with it.
In the living room we meet his other housemates, the backing vocal group The Scatters. Gosh, nice housekeeping. More like a shooting range.
In the meantime, John's 23-year-old daughter Jane has also arrived, and the entire Scatman family, sorry Larkin, can be photographed. Anyway, for the family album? 'Can you order this photo for us?' they exclaim enthusiastically. Sure, for you always.
We also take a look at John's study. Illustrious works such as Scatman and Scatman's World were born behind this keyboard.

After a day of hard work (???) it's time to blow off steam in the Scatman pool, but with the help of daughter and mother (the wife), because John confesses: 'I can't swim, and actually I'm afraid of water. But I paid for this pool, so I'll use it too!'
And again a hard day's work is over. Completely worn out and exhausted, The Scatman falls asleep in his bed. It's not easy being a teen idol at 53 either!
